***NEW*** - BOAPBC - ICC - Joint Training Event - BOAF is partnering with ICC this year to use our ICC Chapter Training Day to offer and host specialized training in Palm Beach County on December 14th, 2018 at the Palm Beach County Vista Center. Seven (7) hours of Continuing Education Credit are awarded for attending this important skills training. You may download a flyer for this class in order to register by clicking here. ***UPDATE*** 2018 CHAPTER SITE SEMINARS! - BOAF - BOAPBC - 2018 Chapter Site Seminars. MARK YOUR CALENDAR NOW! BOAPBC and BOAF will be hosting at least two educational seminars in Palm Beach County in 2018. A BOAF schedule for seminars around the State is available here. Note that the Palm Beach County Chapter Site Seminar locations have changed this year. Our first event will be held at the Palm Beach County Vista Center on April 18th, 19th, and 20th, 2017. Our second training seminar will be held at the Boynton Beach Intracoastal Park Clubhouse on October 17th, 18th, and 19th. This training has been expanded to three days to allow design professionals as well as code professionals more opportunities for specialized topics in various disciplines. Day 1 topics cover building, residential, and swimming pool requirements., Day 2 topics include laws and rules, ethics, safety, workers compensation law, and accessibility. Day 3 topics include mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fuel gas.Please click on one of the event links below for a schedule of training and to register. Please use the interactive maps below to plan your route in advance. If you don't sign up you will miss a chance to support BOAF and your local Chapter with your scarce training dollars. ***NEW - 2018 ICC Annual Conference*** - ICC - 2018 ABM - The International Code Council is hosting the 2018 Annual Conference, Code Hearings & Expo at the Greater Richmond Convention Center on October 21-31, 2018, in Richmond, Virginia. The ICC registration page is not open yet, but in the meantime, local hotel information can be found here. Unfortunately, the Florida contingent was largely absent from the 2017 Annual Conference in Columbus, Ohio due to the untimely arrival of Hurricane Irma.
